TAWWN is a german based tax deductible non-profit organization, register at the Stuttgart court under number VR 724689, TAX ID- USt-IdNr.: DE4209942197 Founded as Cameroon cultural association in 2006, TAWWN is the Organization behind AfrikaFestivals in Tübingen, Germany.  “Living in Germany exposed me to a culture deeply rooted in structure, tradition, and a strong sense of national identity. Over time, I came to appreciate how these cultural values shaped my own understanding of what it means to be African. In many ways, Germany molded and refined my awareness of my African identity, providing me with the tools to not only embrace my roots but also to present Africa’s story to the world. Through my festivals, I am able to bring an authentic African narrative to the global stage in Germany.” A dream i nurtured in 2000, in 2006, Cameroon North West Development association (CNDA e.V ) was founded ,renamed AfrikAktiv and finally TAWWN in 2019.

Germany’s rich tradition of arts and culture played a pivotal role in my journey. This is a country that celebrates its heritage through grand events like Oktoberfest, Karneval, and its various regional festivals—each one a testament to their commitment to preserving tradition. The way Germans uphold their culture became a mirror that reflected my own identity back at me. If Germans could proudly celebrate their customs, why shouldn’t Africans? This realization became a turning point and focus on my organization, motivating me to create AfrikaFestivals in Tübingen & Pan-African Daily TV -Mega platforms where Africans can take pride in their culture – traditions and customs, could be celebrated with the same level of pride and dignity. Through out the years, since 2000 our mission has only become bigger, our Amazing Team, believers of my Vision, we all serve  Voluntarily to make TAWWN sustainable.
