A LETTER TO AFRICA

Dear Africa,

This has always been for you.

Every early morning under grey skies in Tübingen.
Every drumbeat that cut through the silence.
Every child dancing barefoot to rhythms older than empire.
Every prayer whispered between tents, every journey back home in our minds—this was our letter to you.

Not written in ink, but in action.
Not sealed with stamps, but with sweat, song, and sacrifice.

This is not goodbye

It is the beginning of a new sentence in a longer letter.

We write this to say:
We see you.
We are you.
And we are coming home—not just in body, but in purpose.

You are vast, complex, and unfinished. But so are we.

We have disagreed, stumbled, lost our way at times. But still—we keep showing up.
With music. With intention. With dreams not yet realized
