THE BOOK - BAMENDA GIRLS , A colonial project!

“To heal a wounded land,  we must first reclaim our stories. To stop the war, we must first awaken the spirit of those who carry its scars.” But how can we heal admist the ungoing wars?!

As a girl from Bamenda,  I have witnessed the pain of war, my displacement and that of my people, and the long-lasting scars of colonial history. But I have also seen resilience, hope, and the power of reclaiming our identity. This book is my voice, but it is also the voice of countless others who have been silenced.

“Stop the War”  wars of identity, historical amnesia, and forced migration that continue to shape African lives. —not just for Bamenda, but for all African communities affected by division and conflict

“Dedicated to the resilient daughters of Bamenda, the voices silenced by war, and every African soul seeking truth, healing, and justice. May our stories light the path to freedom.”

Why such a title?

This title reflects my journey—from fleeing war to rediscovering my purpose and using my platforms to advocate for peace, unity, and the empowerment of African voices.
