At The Africa We Want e.V., our work in Germany centers on raising awareness, advocating for dialogue, and mobilizing communities, enhancing the cultural education about African culture, values, and contributions.

  • Awareness: We aim to promote a deeper understanding of African heritage, history, and contemporary issues through cultural trainings, workshops, and educational programs. By creating platforms for dialogue and exchange, we shine a spotlight on the diversity of African culture while addressing stereotypes and misconceptions.
  • Advocacy: We actively work to foster greater inclusion and representation of the African migrant community in Germany. Through partnerships, collaborations, and public campaigns, we give a voice to underrepresented communities and push for policies that reflect equality, diversity, and respect for all.
  • Mobilization: We bring people together! Through festivals, community projects, and fundraising initiatives, we unite individuals and organizations around shared goals. Our events, such as the Afrika Festival Tübingen -forums, workshops and trainings  inspire action, build networks, and create spaces for cultural exchange and growth.

Our mission is to not only connect the African migrant community in Germany but also to engage other African migrant communities in Europe, partners, and supporters to work together towards a more inclusive and united society. Through awareness, advocacy, and mobilization, we are building bridges and fostering a brighter future for all.
