The Africa We Want e.V is a global initiative proudly founded by an African migrant woman, dedicated to empowering women and reshaping the global narrative surrounding African women. Too often, African women are portrayed through a lens of negativity and limitation. Our mission is to change that story, highlighting the strength, resilience, and creativity of African women in all their diversity through participation and representation

We focus on grassroots women, uplifting their voices and creating platforms where their creativity, entrepreneurial skills, and unique contributions can shine. Through mentorship, skills development, storytelling, and community support, we aim to inspire women to embrace their full potential and become active participants in shaping the Africa we all envision—an Africa led by empowered, innovative, and unstoppable women.
