We Are not Afro-descendants, African-Americans, Blacks, Melanated, Afro-Asians, Afro-Europeans et all… WE ARE AFRICANS! Professor James Small.

“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
Not born to follow—born to return.
Not fractured—but formed in fire.
Not guests—but guardians of a legacy.

From Baltimore to Bamenda, Berlin to Brazzaville— our rhythm, our roots, our reasons connect. We are no longer separated by seas. We are united by Culture and Identity.”

“The Africa we want isn’t just back home—it’s within us, wherever we go.” I am not African only because I was born on the continent of Africa, I am African by my roots and so Africa is in me. The African diaspora is the 6th Region of the African Union, the worldwide  communities from West and Central Africans, primarily due to the transatlantic slave trade and   migrations.

Though living outside the African continent,  We are united by shared cultural heritage and  are connected to our ancestral homelands on the continent or main land. We know who we are and where we came from – AFRICA –  irrespective of our nationality and citizenship
