Cultural education is the foundation of “The Africa We Want e.V Network ( TAWWN) ” nonprofit organization. Through a variety of engaging programs, events, and initiatives, the organization seeks to educate diverse audiences about Africa’s rich history, vibrant cultures, and contemporary realities. Our activities helps Africans to contribute and enhance knowledge to the process of decolonization, we believe it is the responsibility of each and everyone to contribute to Knowledge.
Our activities include In-depth lectures with African scholars on precolonial Africa, significant historical figures, the transatlantic slave trade, and independence movements, conference and awards honoring Africa’s progress in technology, business, arts, and politics to challenge stereotypes, collaborating with African scholars and experts in the sector of African indigenous knowledge systems, exploring African customs, Spirituality and traditional medicine
We partner with universities, schools, and cultural institutions, Invite experts, historians, and African community leaders as guest speakers, offer interactive sessions, including Q&A discussions and group activities with objective to enhance understanding of Africa’s culture and historical contributions, encourage conversations about Africa beyond stereotypes.
