The Africa We Want e.V., is a nonprofit self funded organization, founded by Dr Susan Tatah dating back since 2006. The organization is a Diaspora initiative with aims and objectives to promote and support the African Diaspora and Community in Germany, as they navigate through integration, their daily lives and at the same time promoting cultural heritage and identity. 

From her humble roots in Cameroon to establishing Germany’s most vibrant African cultural movement, Dr Susan Tatah’s initiative and its project events ( festivals) organization has gained incredible knowledge and experiences into topics such as  decolonization, integration, cultural empowerment, Diplomacy and the resilience of African communities in Germany.

Not guests—but guardians of a legacy. From Berlin to Bamenda, Baltimore  to Brazzaville— our rhythm, our roots, our reasons connect. We are no longer separated by seas. We are united by purpose.”

This message is a mirror and voice of the organization’s goal and mission to support decolonization initiatives, enhance cultural edcation,empowerment  for peace, unity and togetherness.
